Save the date for the 2021 SWAA Virtual Symposium taking place as a zoom webinar on Saturday, May 1, 2021 from 12-2:30pm.
We are very thrilled to have three esteemed speakers for this virtual symposium entitled: Anthropology in the Time of Intersecting Crises.
The presenters will be

- Roberto E. Barrios (Anthropology, University of New Orleans)
- Kristin Hedges (Anthropology, Grand Valley State University, Michigan).
Registration for Virtual Symposium
The nominal fee to attend is only $10 and will also include a yearly membership in SWAA; such a deal!
Please note that if you plan to submit a virtual poster and/or a manuscript for inclusion in the 2021 SWAA Proceedings (see below), you must first register for the virtual conference.
Virtual Posters
There will also be an asynchronous Shared Scholarship webpage for virtual posters, that can include either PowerPoints, photos of your poster, or a short video. Please submit all queries, abstracts, and poster submissions no later than April 15, 2021 to: Hilarie.Kelly@gmail.com
Submission of Original Scholarly Manuscripts
Lastly, if you would like to submit original scholarly manuscripts for possible inclusion in the SWAA 2021 Proceedings, please submit your abstract as well as paper to: beerickson@fullerton.edu no later than August 1, 2021.
